Should I take my 3.5-year-old daughter to Disneyland?

We're going to Southern California in late August and were wondering if we should visit Disneyland with our three-and-a-half-year-old? She's tall for her age, but will we be able to ride anything other than the kiddie rides? Has anyone tried this, and would they recommend going or waiting?
