Can a mother take control of my own daughter?

i have daughter who is turning 1yr old next mth.but the things is i was not allowed to see my own daughter just becoz im not working.im a single parents.i was when i was 20.so this year im 21 and still looking for a job.im not staying with my parents.i only get to see her 3 mths once.it really does hurt.i miss her so much.just that i didnt noe what to do.who to turn to....
