I hate my house conditions?

Forgive me, but it seems your parents have come up with a great solution already in saving the good cushions and keeping the sofa covered so when guests come the furniture will look better. Also any guests that come to your house know how many kids live there so I'm sure they are not expecting something that looks like a page from "House Beautiful." I do think it's great that you CARE about this stuff though! Most kids your age just wouldn't give a darn. You will probably grow up to be an exceptionally neat and well organized person. In the meantime remember, this is not forever, the kids will get older and one day you will have a place of your own.
