How did Bruce Lee train so hard but not over train?

he was mentally strong and he enjoyed the training so that made it easier for him when you have a goal you just keep thinking of it and it makes the training much easier and plus Bruce lee din't train 24/7 he rested when he ate,slept, went to the bathroom, and so on theres alot of time that your body rest
