C-section recovery question?

I have a emergency C-section with my son on May 12. For the past three weeks I have been having drainage from the incision and I have called the dr, went to the emergency room and have went to a appointment and they are all telling me this is normal. I don't see how it is normal when I have puss (yellow at that) coming from the incision. And it has a odor to it. Has anyone else have this problem when they had a c-section
